The -10 degrees challenge

Yesterday my friend Gülce from Istanbul visited Zurich for a day and I showed her around the city. Too bad it was the coldest day of the year and our limbs were frozen, but I hope she still enjoyed the afternoon!

I bought these booties recently and put thermo insoles into them to keep my feet warm. It's definitely worth it! Malicious tongues say they look like tramping boots but whatever... :)

Above are some reduced size images from my trek photographing the Kilauea lava flow on the Big Island, Hawaii.
