cropped detailRick Byerly is a fine art photographer who trained at Pittsburgh Filmmakers in 2001 and started his full time commitment in 2007. Over 300 of his limited edition, archival prints exist in personal and business collections across the United States, including Google CEO Eric Schmidt. PNC Financial Services recently acquired twenty-six of Rick’s photography prints for their collection.
For the exhibit, Surface and Rigor, Rick’s archival prints of rock formations continue his pursuit of exploring the language of texture amidst the unusual in nature. Rick traveled to various parts of Utah and Hawaii’s Big Island to find unusual rock formations.
