ROCKET-FM becomes 3 years old on June 1st. This tresure hunt is meant to celebrate our 3 years anniversary.
Thank you very much for joining us.

Please read following rules and instructions.

- This hunt is pretty much alike to "quests". Quests/Hunts will proceed as you click avatar photo board (Just like NPCs ).
They speak dialogs in Japanese but you will get hints in English while you are wearing Treasure hunt HUD for this event.(When you click on avatar photo board, you need to be within 10m radius)

- Blogging this event is welcome. Although please do not publish direct locations of each items nor sending out notecards of those.

- This SIM has 2 layers, ground level and sky platform at 300m altitude. Please read HUD instruction for navigation between these two.

- This SIM has CDS. We can not take any requests about CDS such as unbans.

- Any harassments, griefing, or any other unwanted behaviors would cause a ban without warning even if it is during the hunt event.



- You can close the HUD if you touch the black the black bookmark marked as "Rocket-FM 3rd Anniversary treasure Hunt".

- You can open the HUD once you click the closed memopad HUD.

- Large map for tp will pop up once you click the name of the location on the left page.

- Your current quest will be displayed on the right page.

- The color of the font for the quest display indicates the destination correspending color on the map.

- You can not receive same items more than once due to the quests scripts and system.
If you happen to miss receiving items and such by SIM or SL lags, you need to get new HUD and start over.

The Huntresses

There are a massive amount of hunts lately. I just have to take a moment to point out the excellent job done by 3 fellow bloggers. It's so easy to just pick out 3 or 4 outfits from hunts and feature them, but it's a real challenge to do a hunt and take 50-100-150 or even 200 pictures for just a couple of blog entries featuring the bulk of prizes in any one hunt.



The blog entries regarding hunts are a great service that allows those of us that don't have a lot of time to choose which hunts we find interesting and it allows the stores who participate in these hunts a platform for their items to be featured along side everyone else's prize contributions equally. Those of us that participate in doing these types of posts hope that it also gives participants a clear tangible indication of just how much effort each organizer puts into their respective hunts and thus an appreciation for not only the individual prizes, but for the time involved in organizing.

Seasons St. Patrick's Hunt

Chica Indigo let me know that there's a hunt going on down at Season's (Lythria (20, 86, 81) $1/clover. It's going on until Monday so run! I got the skin, outfit, & jewelry there:



Unfortunately the shoes were from the ETD hunt that ended Saturday at midnight. But, chin up the hair is free and cute. It's from a little store named Mika-hair (Bashamichi (145, 215, 22) $o. I tinted it brown. It was blonde, but hey I'm not so easy peasy I tinted it. =)

Big Booty Big Money is a much buzzed about store. The creator has kindly provided several dresses to try her wears for free or nearly free.Upon entering her store you will find two dresses: Hoday in Green in a small gift box and Victory Dress in Pink in a brown paper bag. Both are completely free. (Envy 117, 77, 21) There is also a preview dress priced at $1 (Simple Russian dress Envy 95, 84,22). If you like poses you'll also find many poses priced at $1/pose. The poses were used in the dress ads. You'll find a couple of $35 items - one a Duchess cardigan and the other being the glass eye suit (no copy), dresses are $150-195 ($450 fat packs -mixed perms), and eyes are priced $50-115 (no mod, no trans).



I modeled all the dresses with hair from Zero Style - *You* (Zero Style 116/166/41) available for $1. The skin is a St. Patrick's Day Another Shop skin mod *Lucky Skin* by Loli Nori available in Bare Rose's (Bare Rose 189/25/30) freebie section $0. All the shoes were found while doing the ETD clover hunt ****THIS HUNT WILL END SATURDAY AT MIDNIGHT***** there is a hat and sunglasses that are included in this hunt that are very male friendly - so bring your guys along. 5 clovers hidden around the ETD sim -theses do take a while to rez-$0

Seasons

When I logged in tonight I was happy to find a little note from Chica Indigo about her new shop Seasons (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Lythria/21/86/81). She included a nice little notecard with information I was free to share on the blog; here is an excerpt:

...the Akemi II traditional Kimono, which is the Seasons opening gift (1L) and you and your readers can find over a table at my store. The other is the Sakura Traditional Kimono, that you can find on a great gift hunt that will start today February 8th at Kaizen mini mall, where my store SEASONS is located (info and LM below). All clothes are on sale (everything below 150L) for the opening and the inventory is growing each day so I hope to see you guys there.

You can also share with everybody in your blog the info about Kaizens Chinese New Year Hunt (more info below), where we have 20 Year of the Rat ornaments (I made 5 of those with great stuff inside including a kimono, jewerly and other fun stuff).

Now I wasn't able to find all 20 rats ($1 each), but here's a picture of some of the things I did find. The leopard unisex skin was part of the hunt. The rest of the looks are worn with hair and skin from the Amorepacific sim.

A Hunting We Shall Go

One of many fun events that takes place in sl are hunts. Right now the MIA sim is hosting a black and white hunt.



What is a hunt? Well it's like an Easter egg hunt. You spend time wandering around a sim (or maybe even several sims) finding eggs (or in this case black and white boxes). Each box is filled with a free ($0) item. MIA is known for hosting hunts and it's a nice sim to wander around. If you've only been to the shops you are missing out on a lot. So if you haven't... why not go on and try MIA's black and white hunt?

A little birdie told me that there is going to be another hunt going on the last week of this month at the Knucklehead's location.




So keep an eye out for some more treats at the Knucklehead's location... there are going to be 20 stores donating to this hunt.
