Champagne Celebration Treasure Hunt

Come Celebrate Virtual Impressions 3rd Birthday, Champagne for all :))

Virtual Impressions began on March 14th 2007, opening a small space in a mall, selling a few sparkly shoes and simple pearl necklaces.

3 years on and it has grown up considerably.

From Saturday 13th March until Saurday 20th March, to mark this milestone there, will be some miniture bottles of bubby around the store to discover with treasure inside.

There are 6 for men and at least 24 for Ladies, with contributions also kindly provided by the vendors on the first floor, ie Styles of edo, Angel Dessous, B-Style, Crie Style, Grasp, A Folie, and 2 of the designers have supplied a treasure items exclusive to the Virtual Impressions Hunt, Bliss Couture and Azul. A very specal thank you to my dear friends and tenants for supporting Virtual Impressions Birthday Event. I love you all :))

Hunt for the Forbidden Fruit

Click to see images larger. The organizers would like for you to join one of two groups if you're having trouble. There's a post about it @ http://huntlocations.blogspot.com/2010/01/hunt-for-forbidden-fruit-hunt.html. This hunt is for ADULTS only and many of the locations you will have to be verified to enter. The information & prizes below are representative of the items obtained when I did the hunt and prizes may change, items may have moved & be easier to find or items may have been set for sale that were not for sale when the hunt was done. I will not update hunt posts as they give a proper indication of difficulty in finding objects and what prizes were like at the time the hunt originally started.

Many items were not out or out and not set for sale hours after the hunt began. All items found are either pictured or given a description. If your item is not seen it is because it was not found or not set for sale at the time I did the hunt.

Store 30 indicated that the prizes would be updated several times during the hunt; so keep in mind this prize will change & you may want to check back at this particular store several times during the hunt. #47 - contained only a landmark to the next store. Some items are blurred to retain pg standards.

Top Hat Ends 30 November Prizes: 24 - 99

Schnappi had started this hunt 1-23, but asked me to take it over so I'll be concentrating on items 24 - 99. I'll be adding the remaining photos later, here are some just to give you an idea of what the prizes are like. How long to complete the hunt? 4 hours 15 minutes (It will probably go quicker because you can look at the Official Hints and see which stores aren't out and move on to the next item!) I did this hunt alone.

Were folders labeled consistently?
Yes, and only one was boxed #35. Very well organized!

Were all items found?
No - but the official hint list helps you know which are out and which aren't. At time of hunt the following numbers were to be skipped: 8, 17, 18, 37, 39, 47, 53, & 59. 12 is to be delivered later by the owner - the apple was empty at the time I did the hunt. Keep checking the official site for info.

The apples are relatively easy to find and this hunt would be good for new players. There was only one apple near the end of the hunt that was inside an item; a good exercise in camming. Remember, there's always the list of hints with slurls to the next store if you get stumped!

No - many items were boxed, so it's much easier to keep the official blog's vendor list open and to use that list to tp around. Don't forget to look around for the number 54 vendor while stopping at #30 Prim & Pixel. Number 54 is not on the official list, but is in the same shopping area as #30.

Were all items found?
No - a couple were not found at all. A couple were out and not for sale.

Remember if you have a question, comment, suggest, whatever please send me a NOTECARD - I do not check emails and ims will only make me cap and you will not get a response and I do mute people who leave me offline ims. The duck that was out at the time I did the hunt and subsequently took photos was " the fake duckie not [the] real duckie". So here is an update. If you picked up the decoy duck, then check back at mi pop.

In the future I will NOT do updates of prizes, please label your items as decoys/fakes/tests. It takes a tremendous amount of time to do these hunts and take pictures of the prizes. You're more than welcome to comment on any post and point to your prize, it's number, include pictures, point to other freebie blogs, etc - whatever you deem necessary.
