I've decided to share with you my favorite beauty and makeup products once a week. In fact I was more eager to try out new beauty finds long before I was interested in fashion so today's post is about something I reach for every morning these days.
Gucci Guilty is a fairly new fragrance that came out in fall 2010 and I bought it a couple months ago as a little pick-me-up because I was so stressed about school. ^^ I used to have another fragrance by Gucci (Gucci by Gucci) which I loved but unfortunately everyone else didn’t (at least on me) so I had to hand it down to my mom to whom it suited better anyway.
To me, Guilty is a musky, floral oriental kind of scent which comes in a gorgeous bottle. The notes feature mandarin, pink pepper, peach, lilac, geranium, amber and patchouli.
Unlike what the ad suggests, Guilty is not "guilty" or bold at all to me but more a feminine, non-intrusive scent which also unfortunetly doesn’t last very long (otherwise I wouldn’t have gone through half of the bottle so quickly). Even though there’s only an Eau de Toilette version of it available in stores I can see myself buying this again because I came to really like the clean and soft smell of it with just a hint of musky vanilla that dries down to a powdery and comforting smell.
